The urgent reduction of emissions is essential and depends on the voluntary and consistent action of the economy in the industrialised countries.
A great deal of importance is already attached to products and services that are more environmentally friendly than comparable non-quality-assured ones because they fulfil their high quality and sustainability criteria. This must be promoted further. This is based on the willingness to save CO₂ emissions, to neutralise CO₂ emissions and thus to contribute to a future worth living.

2022 DGM creates RAL quality assurance for "Climate Neutral Furniture
The DGM has taken its commitment to climate protection to the next level by developing its climate labels, introduced in 2016, into the officially recognised RAL Quality Mark "Furniture Climate Neutral".
This is the first ever quality mark for climate protection in the RAL quality assurance system, further underlining the furniture industry's leading role in this important issue.
Background to the DGM Climate Pact
Together with the German Furniture Quality Association (DGM) and the Society for Climate Protection for the Wood Industry - GKH GmbH, the Climate Pact lays the foundation for a climate-neutral industry.
