The Deutsche Gütegemeinschaft Möbel e.V. (DGM) was founded in 1963. More than 135 members - furniture manufacturers, suppliers and service providers from Germany and abroad - have now voluntarily committed themselves to complying with the requirements of the DGM in the RAL quality system. These requirements not only relate to durability and perfect function, but also include consumer safety, health and the environmental compatibility of production. Each individual factor is thoroughly tested in independent testing institutes.

Which furniture manufacturers are members of the DGM?

A total of over 70 furniture manufacturers are members of the Deutsche Gütegemeinschaft Möbel e.V. They undergo the strict test criteria of the test laboratories during production in order to be allowed to use the RAL quality mark "Golden M" for their furniture. Can furniture suppliers also become DGM members?

In principle, suppliers to the furniture industry can also become members of the DGM e.V.. They must also submit their products to the strict test criteria in order to be allowed to use the RAL quality mark "Golden M".
